Iniopteryx is a flying shark (Ahhh Sharknado) from the Carboniferous period. It acts similar to modern day flying fish where a larger predator attacks it, it'll go to the surface, catch some air and fly to safety. It would hunt other smaller fish that lived in the Carboniferous oceans.(But related to remoras and flying fish.) Pictures
