A nice Payne model 100 bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. 3.1 ounces. Medium fast action. Full length and expertly refinished with perhaps the ferrule oxidation being the only thing that doesn't quite match what would have come out of the Payne shop. Original guides and agate stripper were used in the restoration. The varnish is superb. Brown wraps with yellow edges, extra band of purple at the keeper and male ferrules. Agate stripper and high arch snake guides. All the rod sections are straight. The rod is packed into a brown poplin bag with no hang tag.

The wraps are brown but about 1 shade lighter than I am used to seeing. There is a band of orange and dark purple at the keeper and male ferrules only. The keeper is one flat right.
